Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th 1996) was born in Miami Florida. Her mother is English one-half Spanish. The parents of her were Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. Her father was an Argentine with Scottish as well as English ancestry. Her mother's heritage is Spanish and English. The four siblings of Taylor-Joy are from her father's former marriage. The family lived at Buenos Aires until she was six years old, and then moved to the Victoria region of London. Taylor Joy said the move from Buenos aires to Victoria was a struggle and she did not learn English and was hoping to go again to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she was required to attend after she left Northlands. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School where she studied ballet and acted in school productions. She dropped out of high school at 16 to pursue an acting career. Taylor-Joy has always known she wanted to become an actor. Her dream was granted a opportunity by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management she offered her an opportunity as a model.
