Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe, a mixed race British-Nigerian child, was born to the family of South London. Her father is Nigerian Swiss and her mother is English. She was born on a south London community estate, as a teenager, she 14, attended The Brit School. In London, she studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in which her acting diploma was obtained. While at the academy, she performed in a number of stage productions such as the King Henry V playing Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe started her acting career with the movie Storm Damage. Since then, she's been making appearances as a guest in films like Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Her debut film as a performer was that of the Woody Allen 2007 film Cassandra's Dream. She starred with Colin Farrell & Ewan MacGregor. Following that, she played Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally she appeared in Trexx as Ollie and in six episodes of Flipside. In 2008, Madekwe landed Bambi, the lead role in the ITV2 comedy Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was also the title character in How to lose friends & make people feel alienated that was aired by Sony Pictures Entertainment in the year 2008. Her theatre credits comprise Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams and Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe made her official US debut in the 2009 drama series The Beautiful Life, which was only broadcast for The CW before being cancelled. The actress was selected in February 2011, as Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe had appeared in all episodes of the series' second season as the show's regular. But in May 2013, the word broke that the actress would leave the show after her guest appearance in the first episode of the series' third season. She starred as Tituba on the show Salem from 2014 until 2016. Madekwe wed her actor boyfriend Iddo goldberg in June 2012. Together, they worked in the film Secret Diary of a Call Girl. He was also a part of the cast with Madekwe in Salem.

Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into the extended family of a huge, large. Her parents were Roy and Patty as well as her four brothers, Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. Ashley's family, which is all athletes, play baseball in summers and played hockey in winters. Ashley had never been able to walk. She danced. When she reached just 2 1/2 years old when she was a little older, she was a part of Baby Ballet. This was the beginning of Ashley's love for dancing. Ashley competed in top-level divisions of tap, jazz ballet, hip hop, the lyrical musical theatre, acrobatics and pointe until she graduated from high school. Additionally, she was awarded best soloist awards at all major dance contests, like the International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, among others.
