Lisa Edelstein, an American actress best recognized for her role in House the Fox medical drama. Raised in Wayne within a conservative Jewish traditions, she moved into New York City at the age of eighteen to study acting at the Tisch school of arts. Soon after, she was involved in the club scene, creating enough of a stir to attract the interest of the media. Her experience and fame as well as her own experience to create and present a program called Positive Me. Awake to the Wild Side, a show that she was host for MTV was soon her job. When the show was over, she started appearing in the film and television industry, beginning with small parts, but gradually establishing her place as an actor.
