Alicia Silverstone and Alyson Michalka
Alicia Silverstone was born on October 4, 1976, at Hillsborough, California to Monty Silverstone and Deidre Radford. She has half-brothers to her father who was from his prior marriage. Her upbringing was typical of an upper-middle class family and grew up in San Francisco. When she was six years old she started modeling, and appeared in Domino's Pizza's initial TV commercial. Silverstone was educated at Crocker Middle School in San Mateo and San Mateo High Schools. Silverstone starred in her first credited part in The Wonder Years in 1992. Critics and the audience praised her for the part that she won. That same year, she appeared in two Aerosmith music videos Cryin as well as Amazing. She appeared on television in movies like Torch Song, Scattered Dreams as well as others in 1993. Later, in 1994 she played a major role in the TV movie Cool and the Crazy. It was in 1995 that she achieved her greatest breakthrough as an acting career in the form of her character Cher Horowitz
